Incident - Shed Fire

2 fire appliances from Torquay and Paignton were mobilised following a call from the occupants of a property where hot ashes from a bonfire had accidentally spread to their garden shed.

Shortly after arriving crews set to work extinguishing the fire and soon had the shed, measuring 3m x 2m, under control  with 2 breathing apparatus wearers using 1 hose reel jet.

This incident is now complete and was brought under control at 16:33hrs. Crews remained in attendance for a short time damping down and turning over until they were satisfied that there were no hotspots and the area was safe. Damage was confined to the shed with no further fire spread, there were no casualties and these are the full and final details.
