Fire crews attended a report of a fire within a domestic property in Chilton Street, Bridgwater.  On arrival crews confirmed smoke and flames were issuing from a two storey property, all persons were accounted for and they got to work extinguishing using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet and one covering jet.

Final details ...

This was a privately owned domestic property made up of brick and tile construction measuring approximately 10 metres by five metres. The fire was located in the living room on the ground floor.  Approximately 90% smoke damage throughout the property and 40% fire damage.  Fire extinguished using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure fan.  The cause of the fire was accidental.
