Fire control received a few calls to a van on fire in Wells.

Fire control immediately mobilised an appliance from Glastonbury who were nearby at the time.

Once in attendance, crews confirmed 1 van was fully involved in fire within a compound which was affecting 2 neighbouring vehicles. Crews were extinguishing the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and 1 foam jet. Crews also used triple extension ladder to make initial access to the location. 

Final update - this fire involved 3 vehicles in total. 1 van was 80% damaged by fire, 1 neighbouring car was 20% damage by fire and another neighbouring car was 50% damaged by fire. In total, crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 compressed air foam jet, short extension ladder and thermal imaging camera. This fire was confirmed to be accidental.
