Two fire engines from Greenbank and Plymstock and one water bowser from Plympton were mobilised to a large vehicle fire in the Spriddlestone area just after 10:15am this morning.
Fire crews are currently making efforts to extinguish the fire using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one 45mm attack jet, one safety jet and one thermal imaging camera.
Update at 12:09pm...
Attending fire crews confirmed at 11:47am that the fire is now out and the breathing apparatus discontinued. The vehicle was 100% damaged by fire.
In total, four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one 45mm attack jet, one safety jet, one thermal imaging camera and one road hydrant had been used to extinguish the fire.
