Vehicle fire

Fire control received a call from the occupant property in the Cullompton area reporting a vehicle on fire.

Control mobilised an appliance from Cullompton.

Once in attendance, crews confirmed the vehicle to be well alight and the fire had also spread to the hedgerow. Crews were at work extinguishing the fire using 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus. 

Final update - Crews confirmed affected area of hedgerow and vehicle were completely destroyed by fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, thermal imaging and small tools. Crews handed over the incident to police who were in attendance. This fire is confirmed to be deliberate.
