Three Fire appliances were sent to a report of smoke and a smell of burning coming from within a domestic property in Yeovil. On arrival crews gained entry and rescued one adult who was still inside. Crews then extinguished a kitchen fire using:
- 2 Breathing apparatus
- 1 Hose reel jet
- 1 Safety jet
- Thermal image camera
- Smoke clearance fan
The person rescued had suffered minor smoke inhalation and was seen by paramedics on scene. The cause of the fire was accidental.
