Fire Control received an emergency call reporting a smell of smoke and alarm sounding within a property on Keat Street in Plymouth.

Crews from Camels Head and Greenbank was immediately mobilised. 
Shortly after booking in attendance, crew confirmed that there was a small fire in the ground floor kitchen of a property. The occupant of the property was not in attendance so crew managed to gain access through the kitchen window and successfully recovered 3x dogs prior to making contact with the occupant.

Crew successfully extinguished the fire that involved a tea-towel left on the hob using a hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation fan.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
