Fire Control received numerous calls reporting a van on fire in a rear lane and one appliance from Greenbank was mobilised.
Crews confirmed that one van was 50% destroyed by fire and the rest of the vehicle was damaged by smoke. The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.
