Two Fire engines and a heavy rescue unit, were all sent to a report of a road traffic collision, involving a lorry and a car, in Castle Cary. On arrival crews confirmed that one person was still trapped within the car and got to work to release them using hydraulic cutting equipment. The occupant of the car was released and handed over to on scene paramedics.
