Fire Control received a call reporting a building fire and mobilised one fire engine from Glastonbury and one from Street.
On arrival at the incident crews confirmed that one galvanised metal building was well alight and got to work with one hose reel jet and one main jet to prevent the fire from escalating and requested a further fire engine to attend for additional water which was mobilised from Wells.
The fire was confirmed as being within a galvanised steel building measuring 8 metres by 5 metres. The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet and one main jet. The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
