1 fire engine from Bridgwater and 1 from Street were sent to reports of a fire.

On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a fire involving what looked to be a garage.  Crews got to work with 2 hose reel jets and 1 safety jet.  Crews then requested a 3rd fire engine, this came from Glastonbury.

This was a fire involving a stone and tile constructed garage/shed.  The fire had spread to a neighbouring oil tank.  The garage was totally destroyed by fire and slight fire damage was caused to the oil tank.  Suitable advice was given to the oil tank owner to get it checked.  The fire was extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus wearers and 2 hose reel jets.

National Grid also attended the location and isolated the electrics.  The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
