Property fire
Two fire engines and a water bowser were sent to a report of a barn on fire near Burrington, Devon. On arrival crews confirmed this barn was well alight and requested the assistance of a further 2 fire engines and an additional water bowser. This barn contains wood chippings and machinery. Crews have also removed a quantity of gas cylinders.

One barn measuring 15m by 10m containing wood chip on fire. Various cylinder have been removed from the barn that have not been involved in the fire. Crew are currently at work with breathing apparatus wearers, jets and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire.

Crew have requested an additional water bowser which has been mobilised from Danes Castle Exeter.
Steady progress has ben made all night by crew on scene.

Crew are getting to work spreading out and damping down affected wood chip pile assisted by farm machinery, breathing apparatus wearers, main jets and a thermal image camera are currently in use.

A barn measuring approximately 15m by 10m containing wood chip and machinery, wood chip removed and also removed from the field, crews assisted by farm machinery. Crew used a total of two breathing apparatus, two main jets, one hose reel jet and a thermal image camera to extinguish the fire
