A fire engine from Castle Cary was mobilised this morning just after quarter to 9, to a vehicle fire near to Cary Road in Sparkford.
Upon the attendance of fire crews, they confirmed that the vehicle was well alight. They extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers, one compressed air foam system jet, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet. The car is 50% damaged by both smoke and fire.
