Incident - Road Traffic Collision

The Fire Service received a call reporting a road traffic collision at the above location.  Three fire appliances from Danes Castle Exeter and Middlemoor Exeter attended.

Fire crews confirmed a two vehicle road traffic collision with a caravan on top of a car.  Fire crews confirmed all persons were free and clear of the vehicles but two dogs were still inside a car.  Fire crews made the vehicles safe using cutting equipment.  Police confirmed the dogs were safe to be left inside the vehicle whilst fire crews made the vehicles safe.  Fire crews left the incident in the hands of Ambulance and Police.

Fire crews remained in attendance until alternative transport arrived on scene for the dogs.  Fire crews released the dogs using cutting equipment and left them in the care of the owners.
