Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting alarms sounding at the above location.

Fire control immediately mobilised on fire appliance from Minehead to attend the incident.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed that the smoke alarms were sounding due to smoke in the property. The crew got to work with two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one fire blanket, one attack jet, and one positive pressure ventilation fan.

The officer in charge confirmed the cause of the smoke was due to an unattended pan left on the hob.
