Incident - RTC scene safety

A report was received from the Police stating that a vehicle had driven into a building at the above location and that there was possible persons trapped within that vehicle.

Fire Control mobilised several pumping appliances and a Rescue tender from Yeovil fire station plus an nearby officer.

Upon arrival no persons were found to be trapped and the on scene crews set about making the vehicle and area safe. This was a vehicle that had accidentally veered off the road on a sharp bend and gone through a garden wall coming to rest at the front of a domestic property. The two occupants of the vehicle were free and clear when fire service arrived and were treated on scene by Ambulance crews.

Having made area and vehicle safe, scene was left with Police who were awaiting vehicle recovery to take place.
