Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a report of a barn on fire at the above location.

Fire control mobilised two fire appliances from Wellington, one from Taunton, the water bowser from Bridgwater and specialist officers.

On arrival crews confirmed that six large bales of hay were on fire within a barn measuring 18m x 6m. Crews are using one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

At 1450hrs crews are using one hose reel jet and one main jet to extinguish the fire. A light portable pump is also in use.

Final Details - This was a fire in a barn involving six hay bales causing 10% fire damage to the barn. The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet, one main jet and light portable pump. The cause of the fire was accidental.
