Incident - RTC - Persons Trapped Large Vehicle

Devon and Somerset Fire and rescue service received a call from Ambulance reporting one car and one tractor road traffic collision at Bonhay Road, Exeter.

Two Pumps from Danes Castle, One Pump Topsham and a Heavy Rescue Tender from Middlemoor were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one car and one tractor had been involved in a road traffic collision with one casualty physically trapped in the vehicle.

Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to extricate the casualty. Casualty was left with Ambulance paramedics on scene.
