Two appliances from Middlemoor and Danes Castle attended reports of a vehicle fire on the A38 Chudleigh Knighton - Drumbridges. Fire Control received numerous calls reporting this incident. On arrival crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire within the engine compartment. The cause of the fire was accidental. Highways Agency and Police were also in attendance.
