Fire control received a call from a member of the public reporting a car on fire on Lloyd Maunder road.
Control mobilised 1 Fire Appliance which came from Cullompton.
Once on scene crews confirmed 1 vehicle to be well alight and got to work to extinguish the fire using 1 Hose Reel Jet, 2 Breathing Apparatus and 1 Compressed Air Foam Jet.
Crews successfully extinguished the fire, the cause is believed to be accidental.
