Multiple calls were received into Fire Control this afternoon at 14:24 with reports of a vehicle fire near to the A303, Wincanton area.
A fire engine was mobilised from Wincanton and another was mobilised from Castle Cary shortly after.
Attending crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera. The vehicle was 100% destroyed by fire.
