Fire control received multiple calls this afternoon at 13:51 with reports of a vehicle fire on the A35, Windmill Garage area.
Fire crews from Honiton and Axminster were mobilised and confirmed that one transit van was well alight upon their arrival.
Attending fire crews used one hose reel jet, one compressed air foam jet, and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
