Control received a call regarding a car fire on North street, North Petherton.
A fire engine from Bridgewater attended the incident, on arrival the crews confirmed the van was well alight.
Crews got to work with 1 hose and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
The vehicle was 80% damaged by fire.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
