2 fire engines attended the A361 between Tiverton and South Molton this morning following reports of a fire involving a vehicle.
On arrival, crews found the vehicle to be well alight.
The fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 2 hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera was also used.
The vehicle sustained severe damage to the engine compartment and the remainder of the vehicle was damaged by smoke. The cause was accidental.
