We are currently dealing with a Combine Harvester on fire in a field of standing crops.
There are currently 4 fire engines and a water bowser in attendance.
Crews are currently using:
- beaters
- hose reel jets
- foam jets to try and extinguish the fire.
Update 17:40 - This incident is now complete and all appliances have left. This was one Combine Harvester fully involved in fire and approx 10 acres of field and 100 metres of hedgerow destroyed by fire. The cause of the fire was accidental.
