Crews were sent to a combine harvester on fire in a field. On arrival crews requested assistance of a third, and then subsequently a fourth appliance. This combine was well alight, and also involved two trailers and 150msq of crops.
Crews put the fire out using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 main jets, 1 hose reel jet and beaters. The cause of the fire was accidental, and the combine was severely damaged. The trailers were partially damaged, and the crops involved were destroyed.
