Crews were sent to a combine harvester on fire in a field, which had spread to a hedge. Crews arrived and confirmed the combine and 40m of hedgerow well alight. Crews requested a third appliance for assistance.
The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets and beaters by firefighters. The cause was accidental ignition. The combine harvester was severely damaged.
