Fire control received multiple calls to a van on fire on the A38 in the Plymouth area.
Fire control mobilised two appliances. One from Camels Head and one from Crownhill to attend.
Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one thermal imaging camera and hydraulic power tools. Police and highways were also on scene.
Once the fire was extinguished, the incident was handed over to the police.
