Application forms are only available when vacancies are advertised. On this form you will need to describe your employment history and evidence your knowledge and skills in relation to the person specification. You will need to include two references. CV’s are not accepted.

NOTE: If you haven’t heard from us within three weeks following the closing date you can assume you have not been short listed to take part in the selection process.
Candidates who are successfully short listed will attend a selection process which includes an interview and some or all of the following tests (depending on the role):
- Psychometric tests-assessing an individual’s skills and abilities including literacy, numeracy, mechanical comprehension etc.
- Occupational Personality Questionnaire -assessing an individual’s typical or preferred way of behaving.
- Practical job related tests-assessing an individual’s knowledge and skills through, for example, topical presentations, computer based assignments or task observation
A structured interview is part of all selection processes. It will be conducted by a panel of three Service employees, normally including a line manager and a Human Resources representative. Candidates are asked specific questions to determine their suitability for the role.

Appointment is subject to proof of Nationality, eligibility to work in the United Kingdom, obtaining satisfactory references, including your most recent employer, and completion of a medical questionnaire.
A medical may be conducted by our Occupational Health provider.
