The Fire Service was called to a report of a fire in the roof space at a property in Clanville. 2 Fire Engines from Shepton Mallet and 1 Fire Engine from Wincanton were sent to this incident (the appliance at Castle Cary was off the run at the time of call).
On arrival crews discovered the fire in the roof space and got to work with 1 Hose Reel Jet, 1 CO2 Extinguisher and 2 sets of Breathing Apparatus. The fire was successfully extinguished.
