Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a Barn Fire at the above location.  One fire appliance from Princetown, two from Tavistock along with the Water Bowser from Plympton were mobilised to this incident.

Upon arrival crews confirmed one farm building heavily involved in fire and requested a further three fire appliances.  These were mobilised from Yelverton, Chagford, Moretonhampstead along with the Incident Command Unit from Totnes.

At 08:41 Crews confirmed two buildings involved in fire with acetylene cylinders also involved.  Crews set to work to extinguish the fire using Light Portable Pump set up at nearby river, one hose reel jet and one compressed air foam branch.  

At 11:19 - Crews confirmed acetylene cylinders had been removed and wet tests completed.  Crews continued to extinguish the fire and also used a mini digger to remove roofing sheets to help crews gain access to hotspots.

At 13:28 - Crews confirmed three agricultural buildings involved in fire which were extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one main pump, two light portable pumps and two compressed air foam jets.  Crews continued to damp down and turn over.  The cause was accidental.  These are the final details.
