Members declarations of interest

Under the Localism Act 2011, the Authority is required to maintain and publish a record of all “disclosable pecuniary interests” and other interests (as required by the Code of Conduct also adopted by the Authority in accordance with the Localism Act) held by the Councillors (or Members) serving on the Authority.

A “disclosable pecuniary interest” is, in essence, a financial interest held by a Member (or their spouse/civil partner - including any person they are living with as husband or wife). This financial interest might be by way of employment, trade, profession, contracts, or any company with which they are associated; or may be wider financial interests (for example trust funds, investments, and assets including land and property).

More information on the Authority-approved Code of Conduct, including guidance on making a complaint if you feel a Member has acted contrary to the Code, can be found on the Code of Conduct page of the Authority section of the website.
