Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service employs individuals in several different categories.
Potential firefighters are subject to certain entry requirements specified by law. Applicants should be aged 18 and over; have good eyesight, not suffer from colour blindness and must pass a stringent fitness test and medical examination. Entry to Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service is very competitive for the small number of vacancies which occur. We are not currently recruiting for wholetime firefighters.
