Projects for the Specialist Rescue Team
- Carry out continuation and initial training to SHACS crews and implement harmonisation protocols across the organisation
- To complete and expand the capabilities of the water rescue crews within the organisation, this will involve ensuring all firefighters receive the correct level of training identified for their risk area and in line with current legislation.
- Developing and implementing policy and equipment to ensure the service maintains its high standards in specialist rescue.
- Continue to influence and encourage regional and national strategy.
